Decoding Dyslexia Wisconsin

Last week, the Wisconsin State Reading Association (WSRA) published the WSRA Update January 2021 which included two articles regarding dyslexia. Due to the inaccurate information about dyslexia and Decoding Dyslexia WI contained in the second article, the Decoding Dyslexia Organizing Committee will issue a series of responses.

  • Wisconsin Eye: Speaker's Task Force on Racial Disparities - Education and Economic Development Subcommittee: video


  • Since the Guidebook (ACT 86) was signed into law, the work for the Committee has begun. The members of the Guidebook Committee have been selected and meetings are set up to begin discussions on the material. We are excited to have a few members of Decoding Dyslexia Wisconsin on the Guidebook Committee. https://dpi.wi.gov/reading/dyslexiaguidebook


  • Blog by Shawn Anthony Robinson, PhD aka Dr. Dyslexia Dude

    • Shawn Anthony Robinson along with his wife Inshira Robinson have written two graphic novels to inspire and encourage struggling readers. The Robinsons are generously donating 20% of profits to a scholarship through the International Dyslexia Association after 10,000 copies are sold. Copies of Dr. Dyslexia Dude! and Dr. Dyslexia Dude: A Battle for Resilience! can be purchased here.
